ARE YOU A DISABLED PERSON LIVING IN EAST HAMPSHIRE? BECOME
A MEMBER AND GET INVOLVED PARENTS AND CARERS ARE ALSO INVITED TO JOIN
How much does it cost to become a member? Nothing. We simply ask that you support our aims and objectives and agree
to abide by the rules of our constitution.
If you get involved either as a management committee member
or as a member of one of our new Delivery Groups, you will be entitled to transport and other out of pocket expenses to
enable you to be effective in your role. Talk to us about any particular support and access needs you may have.
What do I get for my membership? The
opportunity to contribute your views, ideas - and time and energy - on any issues affecting the lives of disabled
people of all ages in East Hampshire as well as helping increase the Forum's influence across the sectors, where
the decisions are taken that can affect our lives.
With your help, how we will do it:- Our
aim is to form Delivery Groups that can inform and influence those of the East Hampshire District Council's
Community Partnership. These are still being finalised, but focus around the following :-
SOCIAL INCLUSION CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (mainly around education) HOUSING
AND BENEFITS COMMUNITY PLANNING HEALTH AND WELL-BEING TRANSPORT AND ACCESS SO - if
one or more of these areas are of particular interest to you, get in touch and tell us what your concerns are -
