AGM 9th June 2008 (Update)

East Hampshire Disability Forum AGM
on Monday 9th June at 11.00 am
at Queen Elizabeth Country Park -
Postcode: PO8 OQE

featuring

THE BLUE BADGE DEBATE
an issue that has been continually raised by
Forum members this past year

“What are the facts? Myths! Why inconsistencies? Who’s entitled? We have an eminent panel coming to lead the debate, answer questions, create clarity and find ways forward – not just a talking shop.

We can make change happen BUT we need your support and input. Please come and take advantage of this great opportunity.

Following the AGM, at approximately 2pm, we will be relaunching the I CAN PROJECT, showcasing the further development of this project since its inception in 2006. There is now access for all at Queen Elizabeth Country Park and the Sustainability Centre as a result of this project, eg powered scooters, wheelchairs, walks with telephone commentary, audio post in the park’s theatre. We hope to further develop this project in the future – Come, see and try!

NB. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide lunch between the end of the AGM and the afternoon event, but why not bring a picnic, or refreshments can be purchased at the park’s cafeteria.

Please come along. It’s YOUR Forum and its future is in your hands.

Please let us know if you are coming. Please contact Sarah Hobbs at East Hants District Council on 01730 234013 or e-mail: sarah.hobbs@easthants.org.uk
